Mrs Ekaette Godwin Ekpo
Mrs. Ekaette Godwin Ekpo, a distinguished educator, was born 52 years ago and is currently blessed with a wonderful family, including four children, three of whom have successfully graduated.
Her educational journey began at Holy Child International School, then Union Secondary School both in Akwa Ibom, followed by the prestigious University of Calabar, where she earned her BSc in Botany. On appointment as a teacher, she further studied to earn a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE). She is duly registered and licensed as a qualified teacher by the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
Her passion for knowledge and natural medicine led her to pursue an MSc in Pharmacognosy and Natural Medicine from the University of UYO.
With an impressive 22 years of teaching experience, Mrs. Ekaette Ekpo currently holds the esteemed position of Vice Principal in a public secondary school in Akwa Ibom State. Her dedication to education extends beyond the ordinary, as she imparts knowledge in Biology and Basic Science with a distinctive touch.
Mrs. Godwin Ekpo is not just a teacher; she sees herself as a gardener, diligently sowing and nurturing the seeds of greatness within the future leaders entrusted to her care. Her role extends beyond the classroom, as she strives to eliminate habits that could hinder her students from reaching their full potential.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Ekpo has actively participated in various in-service teacher training programs, enhancing her skills and knowledge to better serve her students. As a mentor and cheerleader, she provides her students with the keys to success, instilling in them the confidence and enthusiasm needed to face the challenges of the world and their future.
Mrs. Ekaette Ekpo is dedicated to building principles, habits, and a lifestyle of greatness in her students, guided by her inspirational slogan, "YES I CAN!" This mantra reflects her unwavering belief in the potential of every student to achieve greatness under her guidance.
